I am so happy to be able to say I have released a new book! My Mummy is Superwoman highlights the admiration young girls have for their mother’s. Most girls have a very special bond with their mum’s, and they often see them as these incredible beings (which, of course, they are) that are amazing in everything they do! I wanted to create a book that captured that admiration.
This is a book I believe most little girls will be able to relate to. Even if they don’t have a mother, they will most likely have a mother-type figure that does the things the book talks about.
My Mummy is Superwoman was released on Mother’s Day, 26th March, so it was only right that we celebrated with an intimate book launch focused on taking care of our mum’s! Held at Elite Hair Salon, there was prosecco on arrival for the mum’s, and mini manicures for both mum’s and their daughter’s! We had a facilitated discussion by Christelle of Mum O’Clock, where mum’s discussed finding the stillness in motherhood, and the children took part in some arts and crafts, creating Mother’s Day cards. Our photographer, Tara, then took family photos of our guests so they had something to remember the day.
And, of course, there were plenty of goodies! Everyone left with a goody bag that included a copy of My Mummy is Superwomanand featured samples and products, and everyone was entered into the raffle to win prizes also donated by our sponsors.
